Do we need to bring Fishing Poles?

No.  We provide all bait, poles and tackle.  Clients should bring food, drink, sunscreen and a camera.

Is alcohol permitted on my charter?

Hard liquor is NOT permitted. Beer is permissable provided the individual does not over consume and force the Captain to return to port for safety reasons.

 

What type of shoes should I wear?

Sneakers or boat shoes are the best. Avoid flip-flops as they are slippery and absolutely no type of boot allowed.  If possible, do not wear black soled shoes as it damages the boat deck.

 

Should we tip?

The crew works hard for your enjoyment so gratuities are graciously accepted. Average range is 10-20 percent.

 

Who cleans the fish?

We will gladly clean your fish at days end.  The standard price is .50 per pound before cleaning. Payment for fish cleaning is extra above tipping. However, we have yet to weigh any fish over the years as charters have usually compensated the crew fairly for this time-consuming chore.

 

What types of payment do we accept?

At this time, Cash Only.

 

Is smoking permitted?

Yes.

 

Do we need a fishing license?

Absolutely NO. The boat purchases an annual license to cover all customers.
