Hello fellow fisher people!!!  Man, what a busy July and August!!  Sorry for not updating sooner but I have been quite busy. Some websites update every couple of hours.  That just tells me they're not on the water as much as me!  Anyhoo, the fish are biting great and its just going to get better as the season progresses.  Historically, the charter business slows way down after Labor Day but that’s when the fishing is best.  So if you are planning a trip to Daytona in the next month or so, I promise you will have a great time.  We have been catching lots of sharks, whiting, redfish, snapper, flounder and all sorts of other species.  I had a little guy named Zach with me today who caught a nice bonnet head and got it mounted.  He did a great job catching that shark. Also had "Little Jack" on the boat with me last week who fought an epic battle with a bull Red.  Check out Facebook for the pictures.

The fall bait run is starting and the fishing around the inlet is going to get better and better until the first bad cold snap (hopefully which will be quite awhile from now!) I have a lot of openings in September and October but call as soon as you can 'cause the word spreads quick!!

Tight lines to all and to all a good night!!

Hello folks!! Captain Chris here... first let me apologize for not updating my website in awhile.  The fishing has been outstanding!!!  The monster tarpon are here!  I had a great trip with some folks from Illinois on Wednesday,  Fought a hundred plus pound tarpon for over an hour.  Hopefully the video will be posted soon.  Loads of bonnethead sharks, big redfish and flounder on most of the trips.  Hope to see you soon, book early, July is filling up fast!  Updated photos coming soon!!!

Slow start - however, ended up after a four hour trip with several trout and seven bonnet head sharks (only kept our two).  Lots of fun and I'm sure that my little skipper who came along had a blast!

What a day... Left the dock around 9:00 and went to a near shore spot.  Life all over the place with Dolphin, Turtles and Bait pods present on our way out.  Lots of nice fish including Porgies, Mangroves, Flounder and even a soap fish. Cobia were around but couldn't get them to bite.

Thank God for the fall Mullet Run and the full moon.  Saturday's night trip was great with trout, Red Fish Snook, Black Drum and a limit of fat Mangrove Snapper.  Fishing should be good from now until the first cold front in December.

So, haven't updated in a while: Been busy fishing.
Currently, the river fishing has been excellent.  Have had good catches: Black Drum, Snook, Trout, a few Tarpon, lots of sharks and all the Mangrove Snapper you can catch.  The Flounder are starting to move and we are getting consistent catches of really nice fish.  The fall mullet run is in full swing and the fishing around the inlet has been excellent for large Red Fish, Snook and some jumbo Tarpon.

Went out as a mate on the 1/2 and 1/2... Wow... what a day.  34 miles off shore hooked up some of the biggest Amber Jacks and Cudas we have ever seen. If you're looking for fun offshore (better than party boating)... check out my long time friend - I may even see you as Captain or Mate on your trip:  http://haf-n-haf.com

Took some new clients, the Myers, fishing today.  Anchored up near the jettys and had a manatee so close that we could actually touch it.  Caught a huge bat ray, saw lots of dolphin swimming and had fun in catching sharks in my shark hole.  Hope to see the Myers again soon.

Night fishing with my son and his friends.  Loaded the boat with Snapper and even caught a couple sharks.

WOW - WHAT A DAY.
Pictures say it all... check out the ones on the web - on the fish cleaning table... Over 30 keepers!!!

04/05/09- Personal Day:
Finally had a personal day!  Flat calm day off the beach -- caught the first Cobia of the season:  Spent the afternoon in the river with Ladies and Blues...

03/08/09- FIRST SEASON
OK...I know, its been a while... Here we are in 2009 and nothing since Summer of Last Year...
Well, if Sunday was any indication of what is to come this season, then I'm excited.  Bonnethead already in the inlet (around 20 lbs), blues and ladies... and even a very nice drum. Georgeous day, great fishing!
